'Celebrating Diversity' Day - Friday 12th April

April 16 2019, 01:16pm

An Open Day for students, staff and visitors was held to celebrate the vast number of nationalities who attend our centre each day. We had music, international food, poetry, crafts from many countries and lots more.

The Lord Mayor, Nial Ring, kindly opened our event and it was attended by many of our local politicians.  We were delighted to be joined by many of our local community who were new to our centre, along with current students, family and friends.

They had a chance to see some of our classes running and get a sense of how we work by meeting our staff and tutors.

Every person is valued equally in our centre and their culture and experience is appreciated and celebrated.
