Dublin Learning City Festival at KLEAR

As part of the Dublin Learning City Festival on Tuesday 5th April KLEAR Adult Education Centre will be opening up some of our classes for visitors to join in for the day. It is an opportunity for visitors to learn a little bit about what goes on in KLEAR.

The schedule for the day is:
10am-11.30am: Creative Writing Class with Laureen Leslie
Explore creative writing activities at a gentle pace in a supportive and friendly group. This class is for adults who wish to improve their reading, writing, and spelling skills.
11.30am-12.15pm: Multiple Intelligences Workshop with Michelle and Paul from our Guidance Service
A 45-minute workshop where you can learn more about the 9 different types of intelligences and better understand your own strengths. This workshop will be hosted by our Adult Education Guidance Service and is open to all.
11.30am-12.30pm: Taster Irish with Honor Clynes
Learn a cúpla focal in an hour! Learn to introduce yourself, ask for a cup of tea, learn a song and a few other bits. This class is for the complete beginner.
1.30pm-2.30pm: Exploring the Arts with Rosarii Moran
Learn about great writers of English literature and famous artists in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This class is for people who want to develop their knowledge of art and literature.
2pm-2.45pm: Tour of our Spring Garden with Eoin O’Brien
Find out what vegetables and native trees are growing in our garden, and learn about our wildflower meadows planted by our gardening students.
